ORDERING RETAINING RINGS

Retaining rings can be recognised by the circular or square spring wire and are usually found on a shaft or in a bearing chamber. Retaining rings are also used to clamp the various ends of tubes, like a ventilation duct. The following materials are mainly used in the manufacturing of retaining rings:

Spring steel in accordance with EN 10270-1-SH, construction material no. 1.1200.
Stainless spring steel in accordance with EN 10270-3, construction material no. 1.4310.
